As the UKEdChat communities continue to grow, we understand the importance for educational companies to connect with educators.

To help bridge the connections, we have created our Directory Plus package, which is available to educational companies who can utilise the strength of our online communities to connect your products and services with educators at the chalk-face.

For an annual subscription fee, companies can choose from a choice of services, during the duration of your subscription, helping you time your product launches, service upgrades, or special offers at times that suit the business.

Managed by our marketing manager, membership to our Directory Plus service will also include networking events for educational service companies, supporting social media strategies, digital marketing opportunities, and further ideas on helping you connect to customers.

How the scheme works

We’ve listened to feedback from companies who we’ve supported previously, creating a menu of options that can help positively impact on products and services for you. Therefore, we have created a menu of options, which can be selected at any time* during your subscription period.

Each company can choose up-to 10 items from the options below. You must select at least one option from each section, but duplicate options are permitted, and you could also concentrate on one area that is of priority to your business.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • I already have a portfolio page. Do I have to upgrade to Directory Plus?

No. The portfolio listings remain freely listed, and we aim to promote the page which lists all companies. This Directory Plus service is an opportunity for companies to actively engage with the UKEdChat communities via our various platforms.

  • What if I want more of the services beyond the packages available?

That’s fantastic. Please contact us so we can discuss your requirements in more detail.

  • What are the plans for a networking conference?

The idea is that UKEdChat will host a networking conference to help marketers within your company further advance the online digital opportunities that can help connect to customers. The event will include keynote speakers, workshops, conversations, and opportunities to network with other marketers in your sector.

  • What is the cost for the Directory Plus service?

We have created a flat fee of £695 (fully inclusive) per year for SME’s and non-profits, charities, or applicable to members of Social Enterprise UK.

For larger companies, the cost is from £1,195 per year.

  • Can I carry ‘credit’ over to the next year?

No. The subscription offer must be used within the one-year period. We do intend to extend the options from year-to-year, and we encourage businesses to suggest opportunities you would like to see us offer.

  • Does my company need to be listed on the portfolio page?

We would prefer it if you were, but if there are circumstances that you require the promotions only, please contact us so we can discuss the arrangements.

  • What about stats?

Most promotions will include your Twitter (or other social media) handle, so you can collect stats as we mention your profile in our promotions directly from the social media platform. Due to the cost and time implications involved, we are unable to offer any additional statistical analysis with campaigns. We do regularly pay close attention to our reach and audience, which is updated via our media pack. Click here for the latest information.
